The Biltmore Hotel Miami is located in Coral Gables Miami. This Historic National Landmark has been built in 1926 with fascinating architecture and history. It is situated on 150 tropical acres, and it has been a favorite for celebrities, sport stars and world leaders since the roaring twenties. It was built in 1926 by John McEntee Bowman and George Merrick (who is known as the founder of Coral Gables) and the design came from Schultze and Weaver. It held a record in Florida when it was completed: it became the tallest building in Florida at 315 feet (96m), however this record was broken 1928 when the Dade County Courthouse was built.
