The Biltmore Hotel Miami is located in Coral Gables Miami. This Historic National Landmark has been built in 1926 with fascinating architecture and history. It is situated on 150 tropical acres, and it has been a favorite for celebrities, sport stars and world leaders since the roaring twenties. It was built in 1926 by John McEntee Bowman and George Merrick (who is known as the founder of Coral Gables) and the design came from Schultze and Weaver. It held a record in Florida when it was completed: it became the tallest building in Florida at 315 feet (96m), however this record was broken 1928 when the Dade County Courthouse was built. The golf aficionado can enjoy the Golf Course at the Biltmore Hotel, which is an 18-hole, 71-par championship course. When stepping on the greens, you might want to know, that these have been already established 1925 by the legendary golf course architect Donald Ross, however the golf course has been updated over the years continuously of course to accommodate to the modern game of golf as it is played today.
