However, just recently in November 2020, the Mondrian South Beach finished up a $20 million property-wide renovation with a completely refreshed design. The new renovations were performed by Miami-based designers Peter Oleck and Danny Cubes of OS Design Group and their inspiration behind it was to transform the guests to faraway, iconic spots like the Greek Islands, Tulum and the Amalfi Coast.
The earthy feel of the guest rooms is achieved with natural materials being used such as natural woods, teak, bamboo and rattan. Artistry is implemented not only with handmade macramé artwork but lots of other details. Marble patterned floors and coral columns in the lobby are giving the Delano South Beach the entrance it deserves.

The Baia Beach Club is now the focal point of the property, envisioned as an open-air living room for members, hotel guests and locals. While members will have access to exclusive member-only events and services, the new dining concept with multiple areas inside and outside for dining and entertainment throughout, seaside cabanas and pavilions will be available for all guests. Not to forget a full-service wellness facility, state of the art fitness center, and if you need a boat dock, that is available too.

Formerly known as the agua Spa, then as the GUYANDGIRL Spa and now the name seems to be settled as the Spa at the Baia Beach Club.
No matter what name it is, one can be sure, it is a fabulous spa and wellness retreat.
It is a modern, fully renovated 4,100 square foot spa. A soothing and nurturing organic environment envisions a holistic approach to spa treatments. A wide range of restorative and advanced face and body therapies are being offered. A hair and nail salon, mindful meditation and moonlight yoga classes, steam and sauna rooms and more are completing the full body and mind restoration if desired.
After your body got rejuvenated, guests who are also staying at the hotel are welcome to head into the adjoining Mondrian South Beach hotel for a dip in the pool. If you are a spa visitor only, you may do so between Monday and Thursday based on availability. So, a stay at the hotel might be all worth it.
