Liposuction and Eyelid Lifts are cosmetic surgeries and the decision for these should not be based solely on a deal! Always consult a physician for questions beforehand and know all your risks as well!
Liposuction, also known as lipoplasty (“fat modeling”), liposculpture suction lipectomy (“suction-assisted fat removal”) or simply lipo is a cosmetic surgery operation that removes fat from many different sites on the human body. Areas affected can range from the abdomen, thighs and buttocks, to the neck, backs of the arms and elsewhere.
Several factors limit the amount of fat that can be safely removed in one session. Ultimately, the operating physician and the patient make the decision. There are negative aspects to removing too much fat. Unusual “lumpiness” and/or “dents” in the skin can be seen in those patients “over-suctioned”. The more fat removed, the higher the surgical risk.

Tumescent liposuction treatments are designed to be minimally invasive (however still consider cosmetic surgery!) and localized anesthesia is being used. Fat cells are being clumped into a single area, where they can then be removed via a thin tube known as a cannula. Prior to treatment, patients undergo a doctor’s consultation. After treatment, patients are generally able to go home.
There is an interesting article on WebMD which is worthwhile to read about this topic.
Eyelid lifts done as a surgical procedure fall into the category of plastic surgery, Eyelid surgery, or blepharoplasty. It’s purpose is to improve the appearance of the eyelids such as the upper lids, lower lids or both. Sometimes there are functional problems involved due to the sagging skin in this area, which involves impaired vision due to that condition and surgery might be indicated.
In regards to the appearance, loose or sagging skin might create folds, which are sometimes by the patient not desired or eyelid surgery might be chosen due to the appearance of puffiness in the eyelids, bags under the eyes, drooping lower eyelids and more.
